    I am a recent graduate from Florida Gulf Coast University, with research experience in sea turtles and estuarine ecosystems. Currently, I work at Georgia Aquarium as an Environmental Educator, focusing on the NOAA Ocean Guardian School program where I develop and help research projects in K-12 schools based around watershed protection!

    I am a TB (tuberculosis) immunologist from Uganda who graduated with a PhD in Clinical Science & Immunology from the University of Cape Town. I have a deep appreciation for science communication and exposure plus work experience I got from my doctoral training gave me the opportunity to harness my skills in this area. Representation and uplifting women in science are two other aspects that are on my heart. I am glad to have the opportunity to use the skills, passion and creativity I have to contribute to the vision DOAS has.
